Of all the challenges in life , one of the most painful must be seeing someone you love , love someone else. I can’t help but think that if you really , truly love someone , then you can’t be anything but happy to see them create the life that they desire – even if that life doesn’t include you or even if it hurts you. In other words , if you love someone , you want them to be happy. And that happiness may come in the form of life in which you aren’t a participant. To me , it seems selfish to want your love reciprocated when the other party has found a more suitable companion. Does seeing someone you love, love someone else suck? Only if the love was really just about you in the first place. Instead, be happy for that special someone, and be thankful that they found a person and relationship through which to experience this great universe. I believe that someday , you’ll find someone that will make you happy & will love you more than anything. Just be patient and wait for that to happen. ♥
